Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has followed  Bollywood philantropist Akshay Kumar.Oberoi has donated 25 flats to the families of CRPF jawans killed in the line of duty and feels that this is a very small gesture for the sacrifices they make for us.

Vivek Oberoi has his own reasons to do so, "These people sacrifice everything to keep us secure and when they lose their lives in the line of duty, I think this is really small gesture for their family. It is a humble gesture telling them that we are with you and your sacrifice is ultimate. But this was to make the families feel that they have a roof to call home. I really want to do such things for their family and share their sense of pain and honour at the same time."

Few months ago, Akshay Kumar had donated Rs nine lakh to each of the families of twelve CRPF men martyred in an ambush by Maoists in Sukma, Chhattisgarh in May.CRPF had said, "This gesture of Akshay Kumar exhibits his patriotism and devotion towards the country in general and CRPF in particular." Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had also appreciated Kumar's act.

Oberoi was critical of those who have questions Army's conducts. "Wear their shoes for one day. Go out and see if you can do a trip in naxal infested areas or in the sub-zero temperatures at the heights of Kargil and Siachen. It is very easy to point fingers at anyone and say they get paid for it. Go out for one day and then see if I pay any amount of money to you, will that be worth it for you," he said. Vivek Oberoi will next be seen in an Amazon India's first original series titled ' Inside Edge,'
