With an aim to spread festive cheer amongst underprivileged, Delhi-based NGO, Wishes and Blessings distributed 1500 milk glasses to underprivileged kids dwelling in slum clusters and jhuggis across Delhi/NCR and Jharkhand on the occasion of Mahashivratri. The beneficiaries included street children, HIV positive children, children from orphanages, homeless and underprivileged kids. Strict social distancing and COVID-19 safety protocols were followed throughout the distribution drive.

Commenting on this drive, Dr. Geetanjali Chopra, Founder and President of Wishes and Blessings said,“For the past five years, on the virtuous occasion of Mahashivratri, we have organized these special milk drives for underprivileged children. We do not wish to undermine any religious practice or belief, but our way of commemorating this special festival is by giving the underprivileged a glass of milk. We always look forward to seeing the happy smiles of these innocent children while executing these special drives.
