NGO Expo will be held in Punjab on Saturday in Ludhiana's Nehru Rose Garden to celebrate the World NGO Day wherein more than 40 local NGOs, district administration and social entrepreneurs will participate to showcase their projects and initiatives. Organised by CityNeeds, an online platform from Ludhiana, NGO Expo will be unique in many ways. For one, it would allow citizens to directly connect with NGOs of their choice. They can also bring books, clothes, utensils, grocery and medicine to donate or donate blood at the event. This is to encourage positivity and stimulate spirit of volunteerism & philanthropy in our society, empower the NGOs in their projects and promote social entrepreneurship.

Ludhiana Deputy Commissione Varinder Kumar Sharma (IAS) will be chief guest. The NGO Expo has been planned in a way that there is something for everyone from the society whether it is Children, Women, Elderly, Youngsters who can all donate or volunteer for their preferred sector of help by choosing credible NGOs from their own city. Various activities & educational programs will keep the visitors involved & engaged at this half-day long even, stated the press statement.
